Don't Be A Park Litterbug!

Saturday afternoon my family and I went to the gorgeous Sandy Creek Park in our hometown of Jasper, Texas to take a walk. As we were walking in the beautiful sunshine and glory of the day, we spotted some paper trash on the slope down toward the creek. The idea came to pick up any trash we could find and place it in the proper receptacle. After all, one should do their civic duty and not litter. Sometimes we have to pick up after the litterbugs. I urge partakers of park beauty to exercise park beautification by collecting trash of negligent park goers, and even further, not to litter such a beautiful addition to our city. Please do this every time you visit the park. Actually, we started thinking we might find a few pieces and ended up picking up probably in excess of 30 pieces of paper, cellophane, plastic cups, and even bottles.
